Website design work
The cost of designing web sites can vary considerably.
Sites with multiple pages will cost more than simple one-page designs as they take longer and have more elements.
We offer set priced packages that may suit your requirements so please phone for a quote.
All our web sites come with the following features as standard:
· Backup of website onto CD (if required)
· Scanning/optimisation of client supplied images or insertion of library supplied images into the design.
· Editing and proof reading of client supplied text
Hosting and domain names can be arranged at extra cost. (We buy them in for you and you reimburse us.)
We can incorporate the following into the site on request
· Site search engine
· Internal and external hyperlinks
· Feedback and contact forms
· E-Mail links
Web Site Packages
Starter Web Design Package @ £180
· One to four pages
· Integration of client supplied or library graphics/backgrounds/banner
· Editing of client supplied text or text insertion direct
· All relevant internal and external links
· Backup of site onto CD (if required)
· Arrangement of domain name/hosting @extra cost
· Uploading of site onto web
· Maintenance/alteration for 3 months * (extra maintenance @ extra cost)
Intermediate Web Design @ £250
as above +
· 4 to 10 pages integrated together
· Scanning of client images if required
· Site search
· Interactive elements such as forms for user interaction
· Maintenance/alteration for 3 months * (extra maintenance @ extra cost)
* Alteration involves changes that may be needed to keep the site up to date and accurate.
Frequency and amount of updating alteration will be agreed at outset.
1 To a maximum of three hours
2 to a maximum of six hours
3 to a maximum of nine hours
4 to a maximum of 12 hours
if you don't purchase a package with inbuilt maintenance you will need to consider ongoing updating for your website.
We charge an annual or monthly fee for this, depending on the complexity of the site
and the amount of updating needed on a regular basis.
Maintenance will include such things as text and image changes as needed to keep the
Site information up to date. Any other changes involving the layout of the pages will be charged for redesign.

If you have an existing site that looks tired or needs extensive updating and refreshing we will quote you for this
work on an individual basis.
Hosting and domain names
If you do not have a web presence you will need to pay for a company to host your site files on the web.
You will also need a name for your site that is unique and relevant to your web site purpose.
Domain names are overseen from an organisation called Nominet who keep records of all the unique names.
Domain name companies will arrange this for the web site owner and will remind them when renewal is due.
Hosting companies will store and display your site. Sometimes they also arrange names as well.
Email addresses usually come with hosting packages but we can advise you on this.
We will arrange both hosting and domain names and will advise you on a good deal for you.
